① Carbon / Low-Alloy Steels (Q235 / Q345 / 16Mn)
Suitable for general wear; low cost. Wear resistance is moderate. Often supplied with rust-preventive oil, black oxide, paint, or other coatings.
② Wear-Resistant Steels (NM360 / NM400 / NM450 / NM500; Hardox 400 / 450 / 500)
For medium-to-high abrasion. Combine strength and wear resistance, with better impact tolerance than ceramics.
③ Chromium Carbide Overlay (CCO) Wear Plates (e.g., 6+4, 8+6)
For extremely abrasive sliding zones. Surface hardness approx. HRC 58–62; long wear life; only moderate resistance to heavy impact.
④ Ceramic Composite Panels (Alumina / Ceramic-Rubber / Ceramic-Steel)
For severe abrasion with low impact. Low friction and excellent wear resistance. Select flame-retardant, anti-static grades and compatible adhesive systems.
