Product Introduction
The LXYT Series Spiral Sand Washing & Fine Sand Recovery Integrated Machine represents a comprehensive solution for deep cleaning, precise classification, and high-efficiency recovery of fine sand in modern aggregate and mineral processing plants. By seamlessly integrating a high-performance spiral sand washer with an advanced fine sand recovery and dewatering system, the LXYT Series overcomes the inherent limitations of traditional sand washing equipment and sets a new benchmark for sand washing efficiency, material recovery, and environmental performance.
This equipment is specifically engineered for high-clay, high-viscosity, and compositionally complex materials that are difficult to clean using conventional methods. While traditional spiral sand washers are capable of producing relatively clean coarse sand, they often suffer from significant fine sand loss, high water consumption, and unstable product grading. The LXYT Series addresses these challenges through an innovative closed-circuit process of intensive washing, centrifugal separation, and high-frequency dewatering, ensuring exceptional cleanliness while maximizing the recovery of valuable fine particles.

Integrated Process Concept
The LXYT Series operates through a continuous and coordinated workflow described as:
Intensive Scrubbing → Centrifugal Separation → High-Frequency Dewatering → Precise Sand Recombination
This process ensures that both coarse and fine sand fractions are fully cleaned, efficiently recovered, and accurately blended to achieve an ideal particle size distribution in the final product.
Front Section: Intensive Spiral Sand Washing Unit
The front section of the LXYT Series is built around a tilted spiral sand washing unit, designed to deliver prolonged soaking and high-intensity mechanical scrubbing.
U-shaped washing trough
Provides sufficient water retention time and flow stability, allowing
clay, silt, and impurities to be fully loosened and dispersed.
Wear-resistant spiral shaft and blades
Manufactured from high-strength, abrasion-resistant materials, the
spiral continuously agitates and lifts the sand, ensuring thorough frictional
cleaning while maintaining long service life.
Drive system
A robust motor and reducer provide stable torque output, ensuring
reliable operation under heavy load and high slurry concentration conditions.
Coarse sand dewatering discharge
Cleaned coarse sand is lifted to the upper end of the spiral and
discharged with initial dewatering, forming the primary product stream.
Overflow box (critical interface)
Located at the tail end of the washing trough, the overflow box collects
muddy water containing a large quantity of fine sand and directs it to the
downstream recovery system.
Rear Section: High-Efficiency Fine Sand Recovery & Dewatering Unit
The rear section is the core of the LXYT Series’ recovery capability, ensuring that fine sand previously lost in traditional systems is efficiently reclaimed.
Slurry pump
Pressurizes and conveys the fine sand slurry from the overflow box to
the hydrocyclone group with stable flow and minimal energy loss.
Hydrocyclone group
Acts as the primary classification unit. Utilizing strong centrifugal
force, it rapidly separates fine sand particles (typically 0.075–0.6 mm) from
water and ultra-fine mud.
High-frequency linear dewatering screen
Receives the underflow from the hydrocyclones. Through high-frequency
vibration, it performs final dewatering and secondary desliming, producing
loose, low-moisture fine sand.
Fine sand mixing and return system
The recovered fine sand is precisely conveyed via chute or small belt
conveyor and evenly blended with the coarse sand discharged from the spiral
washer, forming a finished sand product with optimized grading.
Circulating water tank and clean water replenishment
system
Hydrocyclone overflow water enters the settling tank, where clarified
water is reused in the system, achieving closed-loop water circulation and
reducing fresh water consumption.
Application Fields
The LXYT Series is widely used in high-standard and high-value sand and mineral processing projects, including:
Premium manufactured sand production lines
Ideal for producing high-quality sand for C50 and above high-strength
concrete, UHPC (Ultra-High Performance Concrete), and specialty dry-mix mortars
with strict requirements on grading, mud content, and moisture.
Concrete batching plants (on-site sand processing)
Serves as a critical quality control unit to stabilize incoming sand
quality and ensure consistent concrete performance.
